Lawn mowing and lawn care

A healthy, well-maintained lawn all year round

Overview

Lawn Care

Mowing is the part people notice first. We cut at the right height for the season, edge every border by hand-guided line trimmer, and blow the paths and driveway down so the whole property reads as tidy — not just the grass.

Our lawn care service includes professional mowing, precise edging, thorough blowing and ongoing maintenance to keep your lawn looking its best in every season.

What's included

  • Mowing at a seasonally appropriate height to protect the root zone
  • Precise edging along paths, driveways, beds and retaining walls
  • Line trimming around trees, poles and awkward corners
  • Blowing down of all paving and hard surfaces
  • Advice on watering, feeding and problem patches
  • Clippings removed unless you'd like them left for mulch

What it costs

Straightforward pricing.

Lawn-only visits are priced per visit by lawn area and access. Weekly through peak growth is common for couch and kikuyu; fortnightly suits most buffalo and mixed lawns. One-off cuts are welcome, priced a little higher than a regular visit.

Common questions

How short should my lawn be cut?
Higher than most people think. Cutting too low in summer scalps the lawn and lets weeds in — we keep buffalo and kikuyu on the longer side through heat and drop the height slightly in cooler months.
Do you do one-off mows?
Yes, including pre-sale and end-of-lease tidy-ups. Regular visits work out cheaper per cut, but a one-off is no problem.
Can you fix bare or patchy areas?
Often, yes. Most patchiness comes down to shade, compaction or watering rather than the lawn itself. We'll tell you what's actually causing it and what's worth doing about it.
How do I get a quote?
Send a few photos of the garden through the quote form or a text, and you'll usually have a fixed price back the same day. Quotes are free and there's no obligation.
