Price guide
What garden care costs
Every garden is different, so these are honest starting ranges rather than a menu. You get a fixed price before any work starts — from a quick look on site, or from a few photos sent through.

Lawn mowing & edging
Fixed price per visit
Standard suburban front and back lawn, mowed, edged and blown down. Larger blocks and long grass are priced on the day.
- Mow with clean, consistent lines
- Crisp edges to paths, drives and beds
- All hard surfaces blown down
- Clippings removed

Regular garden maintenance
From $80 per hour
Charged hourly at roughly $80 an hour. Mowing plus pruning, weeding and general upkeep on a set fortnightly, three or four weekly schedule. Regular visits stay shorter, so they cost less overall than one-off work.
- Lawns mowed and edged
- Hedges and shrubs kept in shape
- Beds, pebble areas and paving weeded
- Green waste taken away each visit

Hedge trimming & pruning
Quoted per job
Priced on hedge length, height and how long it's been since the last cut. Hedges above roof height or over paths take longer and cost more.
- Shaped to encourage healthy, dense growth
- Faces and tops trimmed straight
- Full clean-up underneath
- All prunings removed

One-off garden clean-up
Quoted per job
Overgrown gardens, end-of-lease tidy-ups and pre-sale presentation. Priced on the size of the job and the volume of waste going out.
- Overgrown areas cut back and cleared
- Beds weeded and edges re-cut
- Everything blown down and presented
- Waste loaded and removed

Mulching & softscaping
Quoted with materials supplied
Mulch, decorative pebbles, planting and garden edging. Materials plus labour, quoted before anything is ordered.
- Beds weeded and prepped first
- Mulch or pebble supplied and spread evenly
- Planting and plant replacements
- Edging installed where needed
Green waste removal and clean-up are included in the agreed quote. Access, overgrowth, materials and travel outside our regular areas can change the final figure — which is why every job is quoted first.

Pricing questions
- Are these prices fixed?
- No — they're a guide so you know roughly what to expect. Every garden gets a fixed price before work starts, either after a quick look on site or from a few photos you send through.
- How is garden maintenance charged?
- Regular garden maintenance is charged hourly, at roughly $80 an hour. You'll always get an estimate of how long the visit should take before work starts, and green waste removal is included.
- What makes a job cost more or less?
- Block size, how established the planting is, access (steps, narrow gates, steep ground), how long it's been since the last visit, and how much green waste leaves on the ute.
- Is regular maintenance cheaper than one-off visits?
- Yes. On a set schedule the garden never gets away from you, so each visit is shorter and the per-visit price is lower than a one-off catch-up clean-up.
- Is green waste removal included?
- Yes. Clippings, prunings and hedge waste all leave the same day — it's built into the price, not charged as an extra.
- Do you charge for quotes?
- Quotes are free and there's no obligation. Send photos and you'll usually have a price back the same day.
- How do I pay?
- Invoices are sent by email after the visit, payable by bank transfer.
